Bike Ride

We have lots of great options, 15 different road rides and 5 different mountain bike rides, ranging from short and easy to all out challenging!

Pike to Bike

I can only describe this ride as weird and totally unique.

In '69 the PA Turnpike abandoned a section of highway with two tunnels, (the tunnels were too small so they ran the Turnpike over the mountains). Grouseland Tours has been directly involved in turning this road into a bike trail, and we are now leading tours there.

The Trail is 8.5 miles long and very flat, but what makes it unique are the two tunnels and the forest that encroaches on the broken pavement. It takes you back to a time that never existed, post apocalyptic America. We provide lights for the tunnels, (the longer one is 1 1/2 miles). We will tell you about the long and hard history and show you its secrets including the still intact room sized squirrel cages used to ventilate the tunnels.

This is a ride you will remember!

Kayaking

We take you and our kayaks to one of two spectacular mountain lakes.

The kayaks are super easy to handle and we explore the lake at your pace. The water is clear and deep, the lake is quiet and serene. See Ospreys, King Fishers, Egrets and much more. Kayaking is a wonderful complement to biking.

We even bring along a picnic lunch!
