Directions to Grouseland

We are only 2 hours from Washington, Baltimore or Pittsburgh and only 7 miles off I-70.

From Washington - Baltimore

Take I-70 west, in Hancock follow I-70 north into PA. Get off at exit 163, the second exit. At the stop go left, back over the highway. Bear to the right onto McKees Gap Rd. (You will see a sign for Grouseland). Stay on that road until it ends in 5 miles. At the T go left 1.7 miles, Grouseland is on the right. There are several signs along the way.

From Harrisburg

Take the PA Turnpike to Breezewood exit 161 take I-70 south (east). At exit 163 get off. At the stop go right onto McKees Gap Rd. (You will see a sign for Grouseland). Stay on that road until it ends in 5 miles. At the T go left 1.7 miles, Grouseland is on the right. There are several signs along the way

From Pittsburgh or Altoona

Take the Pa Turnpike to either Bedford (or Breezewood and follow instructions above). get onto 220 south, take 30 east to Everett and get off on Business 30, at the second light go right onto Rt. 26 Clear Ridge, follow that to Clearville. In Clearville 26 turns right but you go straight. A 1/4 mile out of town at the Y go right onto Big Creek. 11 miles later take a left onto Purcell Rd. 1/8 mile take a left onto Robinsonville Rd. 3/4 mile on the left is Grouseland.

From Cumberland

Take I-68 east, to exit 62. At the stop go left onto Rt. 40. Stay on 40 for 2 miles, at the top of the hill go left onto Green Ridge. (Grouseland Sign). Stay on this road, in PA the road becomes Crooked Run. Follow the yellow lines, past the Road Kill Cafe, to the Fair View Church. At the T go left onto Rt. 26 Clear Ridge, stay on this road, in a mile 26 turns left, you go straight, the road becomes Big Creek. In 2 miles, go right onto Purcell Rd. 1/8 mile, left onto Robinsonville Rd. 3/4 mile on the left is Grouseland.

Grouseland is at 467 Robinsonville Rd.
