Road riding
The old Grouselander didn't start out as a mountain biker.
I became a serious road rider in '83 and have stayed with it ever since, I merely added mountain biking in '96. Touring, racing, tandems, recumbents, what ever, it's all great fun!

Bedford County PA
This end of Bedford county is the finest road riding area that I have ever seen. It was one of the reasons that we originally bought the property. A county set in the mountains with enough farm land to afford stunning views. Portions of the county are some of the least populated areas in the Mid-Atlantic, and the little traffic we have is very bike friendly. Perhaps due to the Cannondale Factory in Bedford that hand makes all of its world class bikes right here.
Well maintained and extremely scenic roads
Stunning overlooks, and exciting mountains.
14 covered bridges 9 of which are on our rides.

Fully supported, road ride guided tours
We take care of everything. We carry the supplies including phone, camera, first aid, and snacks. We provide lunch, total mechanical support, and a sag vehicle to bring you home if the day is more than you expected. We will tune your bike and make sure that you are properly fit to it, (few are). We also spend our time talking about biking, bikes, nutrition, touring, training, efficiency, and what we have learned during 5 years of being a cycling coach and tour operator..
Rides we offer.
All of these rides were scouted, mapped and cued by the friendly biking professional cyclists at Grouseland.
